La Pineta di Zazzeri

You pass through a pine forest to get here, taking your car almost as far as the shoreline where you arrive at the long-established fish restaurant run by the Zazzeri family, housed in what at first appears to be an ordinary private beach club. Picture windows offer views of the waves lapping on the beach, while at lunchtime in summer there are sunshades and bathers on the beach, with the ebb and flow of the sea providing an expanse of blue in the background. The menu here features classic Tuscan and Italian dishes, all prepared using traditional methods: irrespective of whether you prefer your fish raw, grilled, steamed or baked, the quality is paramount. The atmosphere here is so relaxing that you’ll find yourself in no hurry to leave!
